School resources

A variety of Waterwatch resources, including curriculum based activities and publications, designed specially for primary and secondary students are available from the Schools page.

Monitoring resources

Keen to involve your students in waterway monitoring? Check out the Monitoring resources available such as the Queensland community waterway monitoring manual and Water bug and riparian snapshot tool. Although not linked specifically linked to the school curriculum, you may find them useful, especially for older year levels.

Regional contacts

There are many regional organisations—both Government and non-government—that coordinate and support community-based waterway monitoring programs.  They can be a good source of information, resources and contacts for school-based activities and programs. For contact details see Regional contacts.

Educational websites
